In racing competitions, an efficient intake system can promote the engine to achieve the best power demand. In the past, the Oregon State University racing team used ducts and composite materials to make the engine intake system by hand; this method often resulted in unreasonable engine intake system design and poor use effect. Now, the Oregon State University racing team has improved the engine intake system through SLS laser 3D printing technology, the racing engine performance is more stable, the use of oil and gas is more funny, the engine weight is reduced, the design structure is more reasonable, the design is more advanced, and time is saved.
